As a moderate music enthusiast, I don't really have a genre that I give particular bias to. I can appreciate almost all kinds of music--probably except the various kinds of hard metal--as long as they fit my current mood. Sometimes I go for classical, quiet music while I am trying to concentrate on reading. Sometimes, when I'm feeling down, I would rather go for upbeat music that can help me dance my groove.

It's amazing how a lot of activities that we used to do manually years back can now be done digitally using a computer. For example, it was only a decade or two ago when a lot of people relied on typewriters to create their documents. Now there's word processing applications that allow you to make the necessary revisions before putting everything on ink. Then there's email, which revolutionized mail transportation as we see it. Then there are those online albums that allow you to replace your original photo album and, hence, save space.

Ikebana Flower Arrangement

Sometimes when I visit the house of friends, I notice the elegantly arranged flowers, sitting inside their respective vases, lying on top of the shelves found inside their living rooms. At first glance, they seem to be fake flowers, for they look so elegantly designed. Upon closer inspection, however, you will realize that they are actually real flowers that have been arranged expertly in order to come out with excellent-looking designs.

It has been said many a time that the worst enemy of an artist would be the blank canvas. I totally disagree however, as I, as an artist, believe that a blank canvas is my best friend in all of the world. I simply smile at the though of it.
