eezyco.co.uk Interview

By Interviewer at 09/23/07 22:08

Name of your website?

eezyco.co.uk

Your name?

tanya

Your Location (city, etc)

London

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Based in London, eezyco.co.uk are specialed to do both wholesale and retail business on beads, buttons, jewelry making supplies and all kind of jewelry.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I am addicted to jewelry making and jewelry collection, so I just want to introduce all my collections and supplies to all people intersted in jewelry making.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

www.eezyco.co.uk is my fist website, and I take it as my little child. This site was born 16,September, 2007. Absolutely New!

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I just want this site to be a easy-shopping place. So I named it as eezyco.co.uk.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We offer great wholesale price which is the direct China factory price, and our customer do not need to pay expensive shipping fees from China to London as well as the high VAT/taxes, we will pay them. and We have anual Jewelry Exhibition for great shops and buyers. We also offer a place for our customer to sell their own jewelry for free. And we will have a blog and forum soon. All these will make our site be a one-stop easy shopping mall and a real Web2.0 site.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I will make it to be part of the charity world, and donate 50% it income to help Senior citizens in China and Africa.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

This is the big pain now. I don't have enough money and time to make all my goal at once.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I will finish the selling and exhibition function firstly. And then have a better plan for the further developping. Internet is a fast changing world, to develop business on it, I should be instinct on grasping new chance.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Advertising.

What has been your biggest challenge?

advertising

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Exchanging links, advertising in forums and great magzine.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I can't answer this now as I just run my site for a week.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I just run it for one week. I will keep it for at least one year if I did nor gain great on traffic and others. But from the now data, all are going well.

Replace this with a question of your own

What do you think is the most effective way to make a new site attractive?

What is your website address?
