When did you start your website and why?

In April 2007 ~ I have always wanted a place where I could showcase my crafts and share craft ideas with others. I enjoy doing creative things and I hope my website will inspire others to discover their own creativity.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

All the carft articles are free, so the only income from this site will be from affiliate programs.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

I have zero knowledge of HTML, website building, etc. I am using a template system and borrowed a HTML book, but still, it took me two hours to figure out how to upload the first photo.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

Having fun! I am enjoying what I am doing, and I guess that says it all!

What was your biggest mistake?

Adding a Sudoku puzzle to my home page, which directed people out of my site.

Who maintains your website and why?

Me, myself and I ~ can't afford pro services, as all the articles are for free.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

Too soon to answer this one yet ~ barely started.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

I reckon it is the way forward ~ without a website nowadays most businesses don't have much chance of growing.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

This is one area where I still lack the knowledge ~ heard of the term, but don't know how to apply it yet. Guess there are still a lot I need to elarn.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

It has helped me to start getting some traffic.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Paid clicks option.

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

Gosh, also no answer for this one yet, still a newbie and still finding my feet.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

Definitely better security!
