Crochet Beading or Bead crochet is a type of crocheting technique which incorporates the use of beads into a a crochet fabric while constructing it. Fringing and off-loom stitches may also be used to add the beads on a finished crochet cloth.
This type of crocheting was commonly popular at the 1800's and often thought by people to be only appropriate for the rich people and for producing decorative designs in women's fashion accessories like the early examples of miser's purses, necklace ropes, beaded bags, etc.
