Describe the main purpose of your blogging, what are you trying to accomplish?
I love to make crafts, but it's hard to justify spending all that time and money just to please myself. I give away many of my projects as gifts, but I realized another way to share my efforts would be to blog about them. I am also a writer, and a blog provides exposure, so it's a perfect fit. Plus, I can tell my husband that my crafting is for my job!
What blogging platform do you do and why?
I don't use a blogging platform, but write my own basic html files. I started writing html code back when the web first came into existence, and I like having more hand-on control, so I do all my web designing, writing, etc., myself. It's more fun that way, and I don't have to put up with all those extra lines of garbage-like code that outside software puts on your page.
