Please give us a short summary of your website?

Russian and Ukrainian cross-stitch kits and patterns, Ukrainian Towel Patterns (rushniki), Vervaco Cross-Stitch Kits; Dimensions, Permin, Thea Gouverneur, Eva Rosenstand Cross-Stitch Kits.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I Love to cross-stitch and I know how hard it is to find some designs. I launched my website to be able to offer a great variety of patterns and kits to cross-stitch.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first website. I launched it in May 2007.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It is related to needlework.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I offer many Russian and Ukrainian cross-stitch kits and patterns that are rare in North America.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

My goal is to provide a great selection and wonderful service to my customers.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I do not want to change it.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Nothing.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Advertising, link exchange.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It meets my expectations.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I run it for 6 months and I will continue to keep it up.
