You have been thinking about starting your own scrapbooks, I know. You see the information everywhere. You see magazines everywhere that outline all the beautiful ways you can make your own keepsake albums.Well, the first thing you need to do is get some of the tools and supplies you might like to use. Making borders for your pictures will be fun and easy with these fancy paper edger scissors in different patterns. There are lots of different patterned shapes, so why not try them all? Some of the patterns include:

- Sunflower
- Heartstrings
- Arabian
- Lightning
- Corkscrew
- Wave
- Pinking
- Victorian
- Ripple
- Scallop
- Colonial
- Stamp
- Clouds
- Deckle
- Majestic
- Seagull
There are also pre-made paper borders, for those of us who want the job to be pretty but less work. They come in rolls of 2.25"W x 50' in several colors. All you have to do with these is to place your pictures on your album page, cut the length necessary and glue them on! How easy is that?
If the borders are not what you are looking for, perhaps you could try some flip pockets for photos. It would be just like having a mini photo album right on your scrapbook page. It saves space because all you have to do is lift up the pocket to view the next picture.
There are lots of great ideas for making scrapbooks, all you have to do is make the time to start. Even ten minutes at a time if that is all you have. It just takes a little organization and some creativity, whether original from your mind or learned from other sources.
