When did you start your website and why?
Haitian Crafts was started in July 07 after a trip Haiti by Kevin and Renice. The trip was organized by FAVICA to help Haitian artists and small businesses get online and in business. This is part of our effort to achieve these aim.

Haitian Crafts is a web site of Global Crafts a Fair Trade Organization. Our goal is to generate sales of handcrafted items for Haitian artisans. The hope is that we can help just some ofthe people we work with escape poverty through trade.
What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?
It is always difficult buying and sourcing Fair Trade crafts from anywhere in the world , Haiti is no exception.
What has been the easist part of operating your website?
As an experienced web based company the actual mechanics of building an online pressence is fairly painless. We were very lucky to have got the name HaitianCrafts.com
What was your biggest mistake?
So far none.

We are lucky enough to be able to maintain our owen web sites.
