In exactly 30 days, Halloween will be here once again. It's one of those events that are near every child's heart, primarily because of the sweets and the costumes that are associated with it. I once joined a Trick-or-Treat escapade with my childhood friends. Of course there were a lot of sweets that I enjoyed to munch, wishing that it was still Halloween the next day.
Aside from the sweets, it's also one of those times when we can our children show off their artistic talents through various Halloween crafts. As always, it is our goal here in this blog to give you ideas that can turn out to be fun-filled activities with your kids and the rest of your family. That's on top of the other crafts activities regularly featured here.
And what else to use for your Halloween crafts than the famous pumpkin? Their versatility and abundance have made them popular materials to use during the Halloween season.
For instance, we've been used to seeing Jack-o-Lanterns every Halloween. This website, however, adds a little twist to it by making it a Bat-o-Lanterns. With just some craft foam, black paint, and small pumpkins, you can already create a colony of these winged creatures.
For that particular craft, you will be needing two types of craft foams in two colors of black and white. First you will have to paint each pumpkin with black paint (there are no orange bats, right?!), then paste some pre-cut eyes from the crafts foam, and finally, cut out some black foam to form as the wings. You can also skewer the wings to they hold on more firmly. It's that easy!
We will try out more of these Halloween crafts in the following posts. Just keep this tab opened and refreshed. You can also tell us about your own Halloween craft ideas by leaving a comment below. Trick or Treat!
