Are you already tired of the jack-o-lantern buckets that people usually use during Halloween? Why don't we try to pimp these buckets a bit and make it livelier? That is always possible, with a little supplies and lots of creativity!
I found this particular guide from CraftPlace.org that tells us about creating our very own Trick or Treat Buckets. What I like about the idea is that it looks classy and original, and yet it does not fail to give you that spooky feel that Halloween is supposed to be for. In particular, it uses a lot of colored paper, ribbons, stickers, and even paint. It takes some time to work on but once the end product is there, it is definitely worth it.
If you think that is too costly, maybe you could also settle for something cheaper, through used material that can be found at home. Instead of using a wooden trash container for the bucket's body, you could use some beach bucket you used last summer. You could also add in some craft foam, paint, and wiggly eyes (if you want your bucket to look like a face). Of course you will also need lots of glue and scissors to help you get started. From here on, you could already design the bucket on your own.
One ideal bucket design is to have your bucket look like Frankenstein, a popular Halloween character. All you need to do is to have a green bucket (or you can paint your bucket green if you like), then paint the craft foam black or also green for the eyebrows and the face stitches, while the wiggly eyes are put last.
Another design that I could think of are pumpkin-like buckets, but I thought that, maybe, if you're just going to come out in such bucket, then it would be probably better to just buy one of those pre-made pumpkin buckets, right?
Well, you decide. Do tell us about the bucket designs that you could think of.
