Halloween costumes are supposed to be spooky and, to an extent, weird. Those costumes are the very reason why some families continue to give away treats during this well-loved day.
But even by Halloween's standards, some costumes are just plain too weird. I do not know if these kinds of costumes can get you more candies than usual, but they can certainly attract a number of glances and surprised looks from passers-by. That is for sure.
Cracked.com has been running articles about these weird Halloween costumes for a couple of years now. Two years ago, the said website brought us to the insane world of Japanese Halloween costumes. Indeed, if you are going to look for some insane idea, the place to go to is always Japan. I do not know why, but they have that penchant and it's not going to go away anytime for sure.
The following year, the same website came out with a feature of the weird world that happens to be German Halloween. Apparently, the German also have this fond habit of introducing weird Halloween outfits, though I still think that the Japanese are way ahead of them in this arena.
This year, America's favorite humeor site shows us some weird Halloween outfits not only from Japan or Germany, but also from the rest of the world. I find it funny to know that there are a lot of these weird Halloween outfits all over the Web. Shouldn't these be regulated? haha.
Anyway, maybe you might want to try out any of the features costumes. Better yet, you might want to come out with your own weird Halloween costume, though I do not know how anyone could possibly top that speedometer swimming trunks. If you happen to think of one, do take a picture and show us. We all need inspiration here, looking for the perfect Halloween costume.
