Name of your website?

K-B Scent-Sations

Your name?

Kelli Mims

Your Location (city, etc)

Mount Ida

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Old Fashion Handmade Soaps

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I want to provide soap making information to other soap makers and also a place to sell my products.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Today...K-B Scent-Sations

How did you decide on a name for your website?

It's just my daughter's & my initials and I just liked the way Scent-Sations sounded.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I don't know if it's any different than anyone else's...the soap making process can be carried out in several ways, but if done right, we all come to the same same ending...a bar of soap.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To make an awesome bar of soap that people want to buy.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I don't know yet. I'm just getting started.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would buy an abundance of essential oils and oils that I use to make the products.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Sure. I have other people who are wanting to get this project off of the ground and running. We hope to make a small company.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Buying different products needed in the process.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Building a shop.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Your site is the first site I have signed up for. Thank you by the way.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It takes a lot of time and photo taking.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I started the site on March 4th. I will keep it running for as long as I have my business.

Where do you plan to sell your products?

I plan to be at ALL of the festivals around Arkansas this year. I also plan on contacting a few retail shops around the Hot Springs, Arkansas area.

What is your website address?
