This Christmas Eve, my family and I will be setting off for the highlands in our first ever overnight trip since I-don't-know-when. We aren't the type of family that regularly goes out on out-of-town trips, but this year is a bit different as I proposed that we go somewhere far off.
Some people would say that this kind of experience brings you an opportunity to relax and take time off from your own--probably even your own crafts, because I noticed that a number of people also get stressed when something turns out sour with their own handicrafts, which should not actually be the case.
Anyway, since we're going to the highlands, I realized that we actually don't have much jackets here at home. We've lived in the city for the longest time I can imagine, and it's not particularly cold in these parts of the country. Purchasing a sweater is just so-so, alright, but wouldn't it be much better to have your own sweater instead? Crocheted sweaters seem to be the fad during this season of snow and cold in the first place.
Aside from being stylish and practical, crocheted sweaters also make a very good way by which you can make some extra income this holiday season. As mentioned above, they are pretty hip during these months, so you might want to look into creating these holiday sweaters.
I won't really go intothe details of crocheting of sweaters. I will leave this article to tell you how you can do it. Just read along, create some designs in your head and then transform your ideas into something tangible. For now, well, we're off for the highlands. Highlands, here we come!
