Who ever said we cannot use arts and crafts to save an economy from collapsing?
Iceland, which has been in the news lately for the collapse of its currency, the krona, and its deteriorating economy, is now turning to its crafty side to try and save the economy from total collapse.
In fact, in Reykjavik, the country's capital, locals are picking up crochets and knitting needles to sell and make some money.
