We are providers of Indonesian handicraft. Based in Bali, we make sourcing. Indonesia is a rich, ethnical and colored country... Indonesia is well known for its handicraft and manufacturers. We provide our handicraft at the most competitive price for wholesale.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
There's a big market in Indonesia around the handicraft and not so much website, i mean, good website, with balishine we try to provide clear informations and great pictures with an easy way to order from all around the world.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
We launch balishine.com last summer.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
There's abig competition around name that use bali, we try many things first and finally, the domain name was enable and we love the balishine name. Also, the logo we've prepared was from a balinese temple that the people use like a light in the gardens so for us it was perfect
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
Again, there's many websites like us. We just try to find a good quality of products with low prices. Also helping the local people is one of our goal. Not so easy to practice equal trade in Indonesia but we make our best for that.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I come in Bali like webmaster. My friends made sourcing with local partners since a long time, it was easy to share experience and find the same goal with the skills of each of us...
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
To be honest, we are a small team, with small budget...
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes we control all of our logistic from the sourcing to the export activities..
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
not so many, we are good...

to get our website before the selling session of christmas
