Here is a great idea for making a homemade mousepad including a picture of one of your favorite subjects. You can insert a picture of your kids, your spouse, or even your pet.
All it takes are some scraps, a photo, and some basic low cost items that you can pick up at a fabric store.
Use a regular mouse pad as a base for your project and place a photo protected by a clear plastic cover in the center. Before putting the picture on, cover the mouse pad with some nice fabric using some facing to make it sturdier. Then center the picture and embellish around it using some bric a brac or complimentary fabric strips. Glue some nice ribbon around it for a border.
This would be a nice way to be able to always have your loved one right there in front of you.
