handcrafted highly scented candles and wax tarts over 350 fragrances available. Free shipping on wax tarts in th USA. Reed Diffusers and air fresheners and large selection of tart warmers

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Wanted to produce the most fragrant wax tarts available. Friends liked our product decided to offer it on the web.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

Our wesite was launched three years ago and has been growing steadily ever since.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Essential Pleasures is from essential oils and the scents that fill your life.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We offer over 350 different fragrances. If you are looking for that special fragrance We are sure we have it. We also take requests for fragrances. Our customer service is unbeatable.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

We plan to stay in business for years. We have cuctomers that have been with us from the beginning and continue to shop with us.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

We have been very successful so far our customers love our products.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

We would advertize more and grow our business.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

We are just a small business but we can grow. Our goal is to provide the best product we would not want to grow to fast and hurt our product.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

The cost of advertizing and ability to show up on the search engines.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Staying on top of the search engines.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth our customers tell thier friends.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It is more difficult and more costly then we first thought.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We have had the site for over three (3) years and expect to keep it going for years.

What do your customers say about you?

The best customer service. The best product available.
