It's amazing how a lot of activities that we used to do manually years back can now be done digitally using a computer. For example, it was only a decade or two ago when a lot of people relied on typewriters to create their documents. Now there's word processing applications that allow you to make the necessary revisions before putting everything on ink. Then there's email, which revolutionized mail transportation as we see it. Then there are those online albums that allow you to replace your original photo album and, hence, save space.
Now we have websites that allow us to create our very own scrapbooks. One such site is Scrapblog, one of the very first sites that have that feature. If you're already tired of cutting pieces of paper, gluing photos on top of your scrapbook pages, and developing the pictures, then this one's for you.
Thousands of scrapbook elements here in Scrapblog are here at your disposal. You can choose to start with a pre-selected theme, or maybe start from scratch. Each and everyone of these elements can be moved around using your mouse, so it is as intuitive as it can already get. Then you can import your pictures from the top photo-sharing websites, or through your desktop. It's all up to you actually. Afterwards, you can either order prints or share your creations online.
The best thing about it is that you do not have to register in order to create your scrapbook. I especially hate registering on websites when there's nothing substantial (yet) that I can take out of them. That's very bad for websites and instantly shoos people away.
Anyway, it's interesting to note that a lot of investors have put trust in the success of this venture. As of the publication of this post, Scrapblog has already successfully raised $2.5 million in additonal funding from venture capitalists, according to TechCrunch. Now that is lucrative business for you.
