Name of your website?

Billie Scraps 4 U

Your name?

Billie Jenrette

Your Location (city, etc)

Corvallis

Please give us a short summary of your website?

I am a custom scrapbook designer. I make 12x12, 8x8 and 6x6 scrapbook albums using your photos.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I started my own business a month ago and want to get some publicity and also let people know more about my business without them feeling obligated to contact me personally.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

A month ago. Billie Scraps 4 U

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I wanted the name to include my name and be a description of my business. It is.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I have better deals then most people in this industry.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

Keep it for income.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I am just getting started so I would say poorly so far. I have only attracted one customer in the last month.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would hire a professional web site builder to make it more outstanding and I would get my own dot com address.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes, I am prepared.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None so far.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Trying to advertise myself.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Craigs list.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

It's a lot simpler then I thought it would be.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

One month. If I can't get people to buy then I will quit after one year.

Why a year?

I plan on working my business for one year because I beleive that is adequate time for it to take off or plummet down.

What is your website address?
