Sometimes scrapbooking can get a little costly if you are constantly buying all the nice papers for every occasion and subject matter.
Save a little money and create your own antique looking paper so you can showcase treasured old pictures.
Steep 1/4 cup of used coffee grounds in two cups of hot water for 5 minutes. Pour the mixture into a jelly roll pan. Crumple a piece of thick paper and then submerge it in the liquid. Take the paper out and flatten it and let it dry overnight. The coffee's natural color compounds settle into the creases in the paper to give it the look of classic parchment paper.
