I decided to start making more time to spend each day to remember our lives at that very moment in time and mark the occasion with a picture.
I used my digital camera and handy photo printer to snap a photo every day to capture a fragment of time with my kids. Then we would sit down together and make a scrapbook page for that picture.
This has been going on for 365 days a year for 3 years now. We have filled lots of scrapbooks, and I started alternating kids so they could start working on books they could keep individually for years and years.
I got them <a href="http://www.office1000.com/blog/childrens_scissors/20090721-114918-Scrapbooking-with-the-Children">their own scrapbook supplies to use that fit their little hands better than adult tools</a>. Kids scissors work so much better for them.
They have drawers full of trimming and colorful paper and stickers and embellishments that they have each chosen for their own personal stash. They share.
This has been a wonderful experience. It only takes a few moments and will last a lifetime in memories.
