Please give us a short summary of your website?

I have a beach house for rent for scrapbooking retreats and family vacations.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

Trying to reach potential renters.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

housseofkells.com - a year ago - finding renters for my beach house

How did you decide on a name for your website?

My grandchildren had read the Book of Kells and picked the name for our beach house because we are Irish.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

It is a new home, 6 bedrooms, 4.5 baths and just across the street from the beautiful sheridan beach.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

It is about even but I need more rentals to offset the expenses.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would advertise in the Wall Street Journal and major newspapers.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

YES

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Extremely high property taxes, renters damaging things in the home, screeing renters

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting new clients and repeat clients

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

I have tried Vacation Rental by Owner.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I don't know yet because I am so new to this.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

It has been running for about 8 months.

Will this site help me to find more clients?

Yes and my business will be very successful.
