I run a scrapbooking store and have some of the cutest stickers and punchouts for my customers. I recently have started selling those fun shaped post it notes because surprisingly, so many people were requesting them. They use them to decorate the pages of the scrapbooks. They come in shapes like flowers and hearts. Some people even take the traditional shape in a fun color to cut out their own design.
That made me wonder what other office supplies could be used for scrapbooking. I thought that regular lined notebook paper would be great for backgrounds for school themed pages. So I started stocking filler paper. I also thought that inexpensive 2 inch binders would be good for organizing pictures by category so it would be easy to find them when you are ready to make a certain page. Binders are typically less expensive than photo albums so I got some binders and plastic inserts for them to sell.
I also thought that the name badges with the colored borders would be good for sticking below pictures to create captions. With all of the office supplies out there, who knows what other things could be used. So get creative people, you might get a great finished product for less money that some of the fancy scrapbooking supplies.
