The date was August 7, when the The Sock Summit planned on breaking the record for The Most Number of People Knitting Simultaneously on Guinness to be held at the Oregon Ballroom of the Convention Center.
The Venue can hold up to 1600 knitters, and so the management gives away tickets for those who would to participate.
