Name of your website?

Barbara's Northwood Cabin Scentsations

Your name?

Barbara

Your Location (city, etc)

DuBois

Please give us a short summary of your website?

We hand pour 100% Natural Vegetable Soy Wax Candles and make a variety of hand crafted gifts such as, Soy Wax Dipped Bears & Critters, Bath & Body Products, and offer many other unique gifts! We have a theme of Rustic, Primitive, Northwoods Decor. We also offer Fun, Therapeutic Hobby and/or Home Business Opportunities Making Your Very Own 100% Natural Vegetable Soy Wax Candles And If Your Not Into Candle Making, We Offer Home Business Opportunities To Sell Already Made Gourmet Soy Candles and of course you my just have fun shopping and learning at our online cabin shop!

What inspired you to launch your own website?

To reach, meet, and make new friends more than just locally. To expand our offering of our products and to get the word out to educate people about an alternative to burning traditional paraffin or para-soy candles. It is fun!

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

That would be back in 2003 when we first started making hand crafted soy wax dipped bears and critters. www.cabinscentsations.com will be our third website that we have created.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Anyone who knows us or gets to know us, knows that we love the Rustic-Primitive-Northwoods theme, we love nature, and the cabin themed lifestyle!

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

We are honest and offer premium quality products. There are many candlemakers out there that are not telling you the truth about what you are actually burning in your homes or perhaps they do not even know themselves! We will educate you and even teach you how to make your own 100% Natural Vegetable Soy Wax Candles if you are seriously interested and qualify to work with us.

What is your eventual goal?

To help rid the world of traditional toxic paraffin candles! Friends Don't Let Friends Burn Paraffin! To have a very successful home business and to teach others to do the same!

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I would say they are pretty equal right now. Ask me in a few years and I would say that my success outweighs my investment of time and money with the unique Home Hobby Business Opportunties that we offer!

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I don't know that I would actually change my website that I created myself because of the warm, inviting, cozy cabin feel of it, but would definetly hire someone I know and trust to keep track of it and keep up with the maintenance of adding new products, updates etc. for me (with my approval of course!)

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Being that a lot of our products are hand made by me and are made to order, I would definetly have to hire outside help for our own unique hand crafted items. Our other unique gifts, I would be able to handle. We would definetly find some way to handle the demand! And of course, teaching others to make their own 100% Natural Soy Wax Candles would definetly come in handy.......:)

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Nothing really unexpected and the only headache is taxes. What I do is very fun and therapeutic!

What has been your biggest challenge?

My biggest challenge is that I have so many ideas etc. and products that I would love to add and there is only one of me!

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Banner and link exchanges.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Just starting with this brand new website, it really hasn't differed too much from my expectations yet....people are still finding us and learning that we exist!

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

We have run this site only two weeks. We will keep it up as long as people are interested in purchasing our products and learning. This is very fun and we love meeting new people! I don't see this site as not being popular! We have many things to offer and people love our products, honesty, quality, and the fact that we also teach people how to make their own soy candles. Besides, you need to give it 2-5 years in ANY business to reap the rewards that you dream of! With the ELC (Everyone Loves Candles) Factor, there is nothing to worry about!

How do people get started in making their own 100% Natural Soy Wax Candles or Selling 100% Natural Gourmet Soy Candles As A Home Business Or Hobby?

If you are very serious about 100% Soy Candlemaking as a Home Business or Hobby, start by visiting www.soycandlewealth.com/barbara and go through the whole site completely to see if this is something you would love to do!

If you would like to start a Home Business marketing pre-made Gourmet Soy Candles and gifts, visit www.barbarabenton.scent-team.com and go through the whole website completely to see if this is what you would love to do!

If you would just love to enjoy soy candles and shopping, visit www.cabinscentsations.com
