Tribal Tattoo Supplies Interview

By Interviewer at 11/10/09 18:50

Name of your website?

Tribal Tattoo Supplies

Your name?

Trey Hansen

Your Location (city, etc)

Tacoma

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Tribal Tattoo Supplies is an online store that sells tattoo machines, inks and equipment at the best prices available.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

The need for quality tattoo related websites started my first website, and Tribal Tattoo Supplies grew as a sister site.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

1995, and it was called "The Museum of Tattoos". I sold this site two years ago.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

Tribal seemed fitting, as when I started the site, I was selling other peoples products through affiliate programs.

What makes your website different from other, similar offerings?

Better prices! Fast Shipping, and above all, good customer support.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

To own and operate a brick and morter tattoo supply store.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I am working 8 hours a day, and treaqting it like a full time job, and we are starting to see success.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would use more pay per click advertising.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Getting good search engine results. We seem to be there now!

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

SEO, and good web design.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Easier than I origianally thought.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

Forever!!!

What is your website address?
