It's just a week left before Valentine's Day and I am already sure that a lot of people out there are already thinking of the perfect gift for their respective girlfriends and boyfriends. It's one of those commercially profitable holidays, next only to Christmas. The town is painted red as people spend a lot of money on gifts, chocolates, and dinner dates.
But what if you do not have anyone to share this special occassion with? Or what if, like me, it won't be possible to celebrate this day with your loved one? Well, I don't know which of the two possibilities is worse, but I am sure that they are both bitter positions to be in, nonetheless.
But just because you don't have any loved one to give a Valentine's gift to should not mean you should not give gifts away, especially to your fellows who don't have a date on the 14th. If anything, this is actually the time to support each other and tell yourselves that it is not the end of the world, and that you are better off that way, anyway.
