When did you start your website and why?

I started my own website in 2007 to showcase my new hobby and to offer quality fresh henna paste to Australians. I have a link on my shop page to my Ebay persona.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

My website contains information about Henna, dangers of Black Henna, How to apply and care for Henna, galleries of my work, shopping links to purchase my henna and links to international henna pages.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

Finding a free website host was the most difficult part about creating my website, the picture management is the the most difficult ongoing part of running my site.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

Using the pre-made forms to make the website.

What was your biggest mistake?

Haven't been at it long enough to make a big one yet.

Who maintains your website and why?

I do, because I am keeping overheads low.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

It gives people who buy Fresh Henna the chance to learn how to use it.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

The way of the future.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

I don't know what this means.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

I haven't had enough hits to my site yet to be picked up by a search engine.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

I hand out business cards to anyone who expresses an interest in my work, I hand out flyers with my web address on it at the local University and at markets.

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

Not enough hits yet.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

Speed
