We provide handcrafted items made of barn wood and other materials used for home decor. Among our items are...Crosses, coat racks, Texas style items, picture frames, book ends, furniture etc...

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I am beginning a very small business that began as a hobby. My work is more like artwork than mindless production items.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first website and it began in November 2007

How did you decide on a name for your website?

The name for my website was derived from my name and my wifes name. We also think are product is very creative.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

The ideas are very unique

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

My eventual goal is to open a local store for home decor.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Just getting started, so there is not much income at the moment.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would open a store front.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Probably not. We are a very small business.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

None at the moment.

What has been your biggest challenge?

Selling my product outside our local area.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of mouth.

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I'm not sure exactly how to market our product on a website. But I am learning.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

I have been running it for a month and will continue to run it.

What is your website address?
