Please give us a short summary of your website?

Beautiful quilted home accessories including reversible table runners, table toppers and quilts. Custom embroidery and design digitizing services. Country crafts and wedding accessories.

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I wanted to reach more people so that my business could grow.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

1999

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I love the Eastern Bluebird and making things, hence the name Bluebird Country Crafts.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

my things are reversible

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

opening a fabric store

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

very well

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

my store would be open and my website would be very successful

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

yes

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

none

What has been your biggest challenge?

keeping my line of products fresh and introducing new items

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

link exchanges and word of mouth

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

brought in way more business

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

website was started in 1999, I just redid the whole thing for a fresh new updated look, I work on it everyday

Would I recommend others making a website?

Yes - due to the fact that you get more exposure of yourself.
