Murals4everyone Interview

web interview Murals4everyone Interview
Name of your website?

Murals4everyone

Your name?

barbara jean hennessy

Your Location (city, etc)

Vernon

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I love art in all forms particularly color and design and how it makes you use your imagination.

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first website.

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I wanted to try and pick something simple and to the point.

Please give us a short summary of your website?

I wanted to offer consumers a variety of wall views to uplift and inspire them and not just for home owners but for waiting rooms, resturants, anywhere people sitting can have a interesting view.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

I am trying to combine much variety and different wall decor for all age groups and I will be adding more different products monthly to help consumers have more choices.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

My goal is to have a long term web site for many years and become bigger and biggger.......

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

Well the time reqiures alot and the money I am not rich but I will plug thru with what I can for now.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would then be able to afford a better marketing system and help the site reach more people.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Yes I would that is one of my goals.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Mostly how long it took to get the site up and running since this is my first.

What has been your biggest challenge?

The huge marketing and how I am only scratching the surface.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Just plan hard work ,linking and promoting etc.....

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

I love the site but the marketing is huge.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

almost 2 months now and I will run it for as long as I am alive.

what do I think of this interview

Well thank you I loved it, what great questions and all the best barbarajean.......

Name of your website?

Your name?

Debbie Kirkpatrick

Your Location (city, etc)

Salt Lake City

What inspired you to launch your own website?

I have been an artist in my community for over 15 years and I have been asked by several a buyer, freind and co-worker to put up a website with my dolls....so I finally did it

When did you launch your first website, and what was it?

This is my first website..launched April 2007 this year

How did you decide on a name for your website?

I make very odd dolls.

Please give us a short summary of your website?

Strange Polymer clay and Cloth dolls. Moth Babies,Grote Mond Dolls, Mourning Dolls, Vampires, Monsters, Angry little Minions..and More.

What makes it different from other, similar offerings?

Just my little twisted twist of style I suppose.

What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)

I suppose to get my art out there in the world and share my art with all. To inspire other artists and to be inspired.

How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?

I am not sure I have an answer for that.

If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?

I would definately make my studio larger.

If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?

Well, I only sell what I make... I would simply have to take orders and sell on first come first serve basis. But i would enjoy it.

What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?

Using the wrong types of Clay..making an exceptional doll and having parts of it break off or flake...lesson well learned! Also learning to ship everything off on time and well packaged...its taken me 4 years of learning the rights and wrongs of that part of the business.

What has been your biggest challenge?

making dolls that will sell. Getting them shipped off at a reasonable time.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Word of Mouth

How has running your website differed from your expectations?

Lots and Lots of work sitting here on my behind.

How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

about 2 months, for as long as I can.

Where would I like to go with this website?

Mississippi Fitness & Artist Company Interview

By Interviewer at 07/18/07 11:23
web interview Mississippi Fitness & Artist Company Interview
Name of your website?

Mississippi Fitness & Artist Company

Your name?

charles chapin

Your Location (city, etc)

Greenwood

When did you start your website and why?

I started the website just recently because I wanted to advertise the unique products and services that we offered for all ages. Our customers range in age from 5 years old all the way up to 90 years of age.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

The website is broken down into various pages with each page detailing services or products that we offer. There are easy links that allow you to move from one page to the other and email links for those needing information or wanting to answer questions. It is a user friendly website.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

The most difficult part has been learning how. Exploring the internet is a lot easier than hosting a website for others to come and look at.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

The easiest part has been the operation and maintenance since getting the website up and running.

What was your biggest mistake?

Assuming that HTML was something anyone could do.

Who maintains your website and why?

I do. It is the only way that I could be sure of how the website was run and control the content.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

We have just started but have had our URL submitted to a good many of the major search engines, and with fine organizations like yours taking that extra effort to help website owners get more exposure I know it will be very beneficial.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

I think the internet and ecommerce will continue to grow.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

I think it is important but it can be a slow process.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

I know they will help.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Just getting on the web and letting people know we are here.

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

Large phonebook ads

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

I would love a way it could be made even more user friendly so it wouldn't seem so complicated to those like me who are computer illiterate.

You can enter a question of your choice and the answer here:

What should the internet do? Help bring us closer together and show us how wonderful this world we live in really is. Help to show us that we owe it to each other to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves.
